The materials of the gravel bike

For example, titanium is known to be stronger and more resistant than carbon, an advantage in a discipline where the practice can be engaged. There are also steel gravels. Steel has significant advantages: it is stronger, more durable and less expensive.

The different parts of the gravel

The most important feature of a gravel bike is the combination of curved handlebars and wide tires. Gravel wheels are designed to do a lot of miles on any terrain. The wheelbase is therefore quite long, which ensures a smooth and stable ride. The steering angle is relatively flat so that you can feel safe when riding downhill. Finally, the bottom bracket is quite low, which also improves the stability of the ride on rough terrain.
